    1. It works great for me, my son doesn’t love it so much. At first he liked it ok because it was easy. But as it got harder there wasn’t a lot of explanation on the more difficult concepts, so it needed more teaching from me than I wanted. We actually bit the bullet and bought Analytical Grammar for next year. That’s really what I wanted to get last year but it’s so expensive that my husband said “No way.” But this year I took him to the AG vendor workshop at the conference, and afterward he marched straight down to the booth and bought it, lol.

  1. I’d love to hear how AG works for you. I keep thinking about it, but it keeps not being in the budget. I spent $11 on our grammar for this year. I bought a used copy of Winston grammar which I intend to use on a whiteboard with my two eldest (since the student book is partially used) and a copy of Warriner’s Fourth Course I am hoping I can pull some more difficult sentences from for my eldest to work with.

  2. i have just come across your blog and am considering homeschool next year. i am curious to know if you do each subject every day, basically the same thing everyday or do you split the subjects up. i’d love to see how a typical day or week lays out for a homeschooling family and i’ve yet to find that. thanks in advance, i realize you may not reply as this post is nearly a year old.

  3. Wow, I’m not sure how many kiddos that was but that seemed like a lot of scheduling! HA

Thanks for linking up with me. This has been a lot of fun.

  4. It looks like your year is well planned! I am still working on our plans…I have the curriculum purchased, but need to get organized now. :O)
