I started the penguin lapbook from Lapbook Lessons a couple of months ago with my K son. We did most of the books that we were going to use and then I put them in my big folder and forget to make them into a lapbook.  I’m sure that never happens to anyone else 😉  Last week, I finally had him glue them into the lapbook.  He was so proud.  He loves looking at his book. I thought I’d share a few pictures of the finished product.

  1. Your lapbook look great..

We did a unit on Penguins too… My kids loved it… I never knew there was such a thing as a "Macaroni Penguin"… *L*

    Have a great week!!

  2. I had gotten a free copy of Creation magazine and it had an article on penguins my daughter read and enjoyed (we're doing Tundra and Artic with the Iditarod right now.) If you know anyone who gets that magazine you might want to look.

  3. It's adorable! 🙂 Horray! Great job! We read Mr. Popper's Penguins and made a penguin lapbook a few years ago. Those birds are fascinating!

  4. Good job on the penguin lapbook! He did great.

I was moving all of my school stuff of the shelves so we could put flooring down when I came across mini books for a 4th of July lapbook we started last summer. Whoops!

    Blessings,
