A roadblock.

I feel like that’s what I’ve been up against. Everywhere I turned, there was something that needed to be organized, but something else needed to be done first.

I need to get school planning done, but first I had this huge bin of clothes in my room and another one that was calling to me from the basement. I needed to put them in the closet, but the light stopped working.

Finally this Wednesday, my husband fixed the closet light. (In his defense we were out of town from Friday through Monday.) Since then I was able to remove all my clothes from my closet and replace them with maternity clothes. (Yes, you read that right!) Two bins are now stored back in the attic storage area with my regular clothes. While I was cleaning out my closet, I found the wall lights we bought at IKEA for the kids a year ago and hadn’t installed. We did that yesterday too!

I’ve planned a little project in the basement with my son since January. We’re painting a green screen for him to use for filming. We cleaned out the area right after Christmas. Since then, stuff migrated to the empty spot. One thing was a bin of maternity clothes which has now been put away. Another was the card table with my daughter’s partially worked Globe puzzle. She actually finished that yesterday too! And we’ve bought the paint, so we’re one step closer to completing that project.

I feel like I need to take a little more time on these home projects before I focus my energy on getting everything ready for school. Hopefully my plan will work! I think a deadline is going to be required. So expect to see pictures of our new green wall by the end of next week. (I think….)

  1. Soooo … what are the maternity clothes for? *picking imaginary lint off my shirt*

    😆 Congratulations! {HUG}

    I think alot of us suffer from “I-need-to-get-THIS-done-but-first-I-have-to-do-THIS” syndrome. It all gets done in the end, but it can be frustrating in the process :).

  2. You sound very busy! 😀 lol So you are expecting a new little one? I think I read that right. 😀 Congratulations! Blessings to you! And I love that globe, it’s really neat! God Bless!

  3. First, CONGRATULATIONS!!! When are you due?

    I always do much better with a exact time things need to be done. If I have lots of time, I tend to take way too long. I hope you get it all done. 🙂
