I’m working on getting all my kids’ outgrown fall and winter clothes ready to sell. I have been selling and shopping at this specific sale for 8 years now. (It’s called Weeruns and the sale owner is selling franchises if you’re looking for a home business.) There are so many things I appreciate about participating in this large sale.
- I make some money that I can use to buy clothes for my kids.
- I get to go to the pre-sale and buy "new" clothes before the selection is picked over.
- I am motivated to go ahead and sell things instead of packing them away for years and then getting rid of them after they’re way out of style.
- The assigned drop-off time gives me a due date and forces me to sort through all the clothes at least twice per year, keeping me from too much procrastination.
- They also take toys and baby equipment, so I’ve been able to find some great deals over the years, as well as sell things we’ve finished with.
What I don’t like about the sale is the work preparing for it. I’ve got almost all the clothes on hangers, but now I have to price each item on an index card and pin it on. Must get back to work!

There are several sales like this within an hour from us and I'm often tempted to go, but never have. Good luck – hope you make lots of money and get lots of great clothes!
