This is my older son’s latest video project. He had to write a poem for our book club, so he came up with the idea for a poem and made it into a video. I helped with some of the (very bad) filming. Who knew there was so much to think about with camera angles? But he wrote the poem, did the acting, and the editing himself. I’m constantly amazed.

  1. Wow! That is quite impressive. I wouldn't even know where to begin to make something like that. How long did it take to do all of the editing?

The poem was very good on its own, but the video certainly added to it. Great job!

  2. I wanted to pop over and tell you that we just received our copy of the programs you said your son used and my youngest is on his way to learning how to use all the bells and whistles. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Please let your son know we loved this video…so creative and much more interesting than just a poem. 🙂

  3. Wow! Very impressive. As one of your other commenters said, I wouldn't even know where to begin to do something like that. He did a fantastic job! The poem was very creative, too.

  4. I was really impressed with your video, David. Good shirt color to use the green screen. I thought the writing was clever, and it makes me want to see more of your videos. Excellent.

  5. I'm sure I'll be posting plenty more videos in the future. We're actually in the process of painting a green wall in our basement to make it easier to David to produce videos.
