I never did a post last week for my 52 books in 52 weeks project. I did finish a book: Death of a Valentine by M.C. Beaton. It’s really not worthy of a review. It was the latest in the Hamish MacBeth mystery series and the mystery was ok. The rest of the story was ok.
Right now I am reading Duty and Desire by Pamela Aidan. It’s the second in a series that tells the story of Pride and Prejudice from Darcy’s point of view. It’s not going very quickly so I fear that this might be the first week where I don’t actually finish a book!
I’m also reading One Million Arrows by Julie Ferwerda. Be looking for a review of it next week.
Also on the nightstand are:
Thicker than Blood by C.J. Darlington. The author is a homeschool graduate and this is her first novel.
